Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Formcraft El Paso Concrete Company, elpasoconcretecompany.com, hello@elpasoconcretecompany.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Formcraft El Paso Concrete Company website and any estimate, quote or work you ask us for through it. By using the site or booking work with us, you agree to them, so please read them before you call or send the form.

If you have a signed written agreement with us for a specific job, that agreement controls wherever it differs from this page. These terms fill in anything it doesn't address.

What we do

We're a concrete contractor in El Paso, TX. Our work includes driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, slab foundations, footings, retaining walls, decorative and stamped concrete, and concrete cutting. The home page lists our services and the cities we work in, and the About page tells you more about our crew.

The descriptions on this site are general. What we'll do on your property is whatever your written estimate or agreement describes, because every slab depends on the ground, the drainage and the access at that address.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free and on site, and you're under no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, including the size of the area, the depth of the dig-out, the condition of the subgrade, which is the soil the slab sits on, the finish you choose and how easy it is to get a truck to the pour.

Prices on an estimate hold for the period written on it. If we find something once the job is open that nobody could see beforehand, such as buried debris, soft or wet soil, old concrete under the surface or roots, we'll stop, explain it and give you the added cost in writing before we go on. We won't do extra work you haven't approved.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We'll give you a target start date when you accept the estimate, but concrete work depends on the weather. We may move a pour for rain, wind, freezing temperatures or heat that would leave you with a weak top surface, because pouring in bad conditions costs you more in the long run than a short delay. Supplier and truck delays can move the date too, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (915) 265-1446 as early as you can. Once materials are ordered or the site is dug out, you may owe for that work and those materials, as your written agreement spells out.

Payment

The deposit, payment schedule and accepted payment methods for your job are set in your written estimate or agreement. Final payment is due when the work it describes is done, even though new concrete still needs time to cure, which is the waiting period while it hardens before it can take foot traffic or a vehicle.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled. Under Texas law, contractors who aren't paid for work on a property may have lien rights, and we keep those rights.

What we need from you

You're responsible for telling us where your property lines are and for any approval your homeowners association requires. Who gets any permit the job needs is set in your written agreement, and we can't move ahead without it.

Please keep the work area clear and keep kids, pets and vehicles off fresh concrete until we tell you it's ready, because marks, footprints and tire damage in uncured concrete aren't covered. You'll also need to let us know about sprinkler lines, septic parts or private lines we can't see, since we're not responsible for damage to hidden items you didn't tell us about.

Our guarantee and what concrete does on its own

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something we did isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it and make it right where the problem comes from our work.

Concrete can crack even when it's done right. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give the slab a place to crack in a straight line, so cracks show up where we chose instead of across the middle. Hairline cracks, small color differences between pours, minor surface wear and changes in decorative color or texture over time are normal and aren't defects.

We don't cover damage from soil movement or settling under areas we didn't prepare, from water draining onto the slab from roofs, gutters or neighboring property, from heavy loads beyond what the job was built for, from deicing salts or harsh chemicals, or from repairs or changes someone else made. Beyond what this section and your written agreement say, we make no other promises, stated or implied, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and fully insured. Even so, to the extent Texas law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We aren't responsible for indirect losses such as lost use of a driveway or patio while it cures, lost rent or business, or delays caused by weather, suppliers or other things outside our control. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Using this website

The content on this site is general information about concrete work, not advice for your property. Please don't copy our text or photos for commercial use without asking us first.

If our site links to another website, we don't control that site and aren't responsible for what it says or does.

If we disagree

If you're unhappy with anything, call us first. Most problems get settled with a visit and a straight conversation. If we can't work it out that way, we both agree to try mediation in El Paso County, Texas, before either of us goes to court.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any court case about them will be brought in the courts of El Paso County, Texas, including for work done for customers in nearby New Mexico cities, unless the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time, and the version posted here when you book a job is the one that applies to it. Changes won't affect a written agreement you've already signed unless we both agree to them in writing.
